Ok sick of pictures of me yet? hehehe…

Anyway, here’s a scarf I made recently. I thought that it would be such an awesome idea to have polka dots but then realized that when I put it together…I look like one of those Jester Clowns. OOPS.

Oh well…I love it anyway. Will think of putting together a few more in different colours and different fabrics now that Spring is here.

Also, if you haven’t heard yet… my Sister is getting married! Weird but cool. She’s still a baby.

So as Maid of Honour (what ever that really means…) I had the privilege of doing a food tasting thingie at her probable venue and this is what I wore. No. Not the baby. She stayed home . But check out her little pout! Too cute.

Missy C is now walking in full swing. She rather walk than be carried which is good AND bad. This is especially annoying when Missy A is running late for school, and Missy C INSISTS of walking to the car from the front door. She forgets anyway once strapped into the car.

I’ve been reading a fair number of new blogs lately. Well, they’re not new but new to me la… ANYWAY… I love the way they use polaroid shots and also how they age their pics into vintage looking pics so here’s me trying to do the same…

ALSO… it’s always a good thing trying something for the first time right even if you fall on your ass… and that goes the same for Missy C! TODAY she took her first 3 steps ALL BY HER SELF! First it was one wobbly step… then TWO wobbly step… and then her third was more of a shuffle of her other legs so that she wouldn’t topple. BUT HOW EXCITING!! I picked her up and bounced around the house singing… ” YA YA YA!”

I don’t wanna grow up, I’m a Toys R’ Us kid. A million toys to choose from, that I can play with. From bikes to trikes and video games, its the biggest toy stor there is. GEE WIZ! I don’t wanna grow up, cuz baby if I did….I wouldn’t be a toys r’ us kid!

I haven’t been blogging much because…I have been growing up lately. I now drink coffee because I think its an adult thing to do. I indulge in cheese too because… its just an adult thing to do. Hehehe… ok not really but of late, I do feel like an oldie scouring wineries,I shop for homewares, having a latte in my hand, ordering caeser salad, and carrying hand cream in my handbag.

I’ve shocked everyone with my new do. Atleast my uncles anyway. He calls it the Aunty hair cut…. but others have liked… it??? Or atleast they have all been very polite.

Then I really felt like an Aunty remembering that this white dress WAS my mummy’s.

And now I dream of my next house. It will have a name. YES my house will have its own name.

Happy April from the Livingfootprints family!

My birthday was… sometime last week, and I have had the BEST birthday celebration ever! On the day itself, my hubby took leave so I could sleep in. Missy A had a day off (no school on Wednesdays – NO not wagging)… and they baked me chocolate muffins, and woke me up by singing Happy Birthday with a single candle on it. By the time I got out of bed, the girls all had their breakfasts and all I did was get changed and it was time for LUNCH! YES I WAS in bed til 11. So we headed out for a simple lunch, came home, watched DVDs, and Missy A cooked fish and chips for dinner! How awesome! Then I had family over to polish off the rest of the cupcakes, and that was it! Simple. With the people I love. Best. EVER.

OFCOARSE there was a boozy weekend with friends. I ate myself silly at Crown, and headed out to party it up. Hubby booked hotel rooms for ourselves and the grandparents to look after the little ones… and that was that. BEST. EVER!

Ok, so there were a few hiccups at the end of the night but yeh, I’d hate for the to fog over the GOOD GOOD TIMES!

OK, so I thought this was an awesome dress…. until Dave decided to ask me where my apron was when I was vacumming. GRRRR….

House keeping anyone???

You couldn’t believe that 5 minutes after taking this picture, I smelt the rain…. and so we packed up and headed home, after only being out for only 15 minutes. We got home. Stepped through the door… and it PELTED down hail stones! Melbourne was drenched and the CBD was chockers and flooded…

…my poor lanterns. Well, good thing is atleast then our water thingie is now at 35%! Woohoo! I can now have 4 minute showers (instead of 3).

While me and the girls (and my shadow-Oscar) were lucky to escape the hail… poor Dave didn’t.

Blog bog Bog Blog…

I have two girls, and Dave has been a little out numbered and so to push the pressure my parents are putting on me to have another baby and PREFABLY and boy baby…. we went and got a BOY dog instead! HAHA!

YES… little Oscar is a Shit Poo. hahaha… a little Shih tzu crossed toy poodle and he is already very attached to me. IT is seriously like having another baby to take care off, and I am not too sure how many more black hairs I can spare to turn white! Well, if that ever happens, then atleast I can shave Oscar and stick that onto my head. He poops, he pees… and he puts everything he can into his mouth. EXACTLY what Missy C does. The good thing is that Missy C and him do not fight. They both seem to be very polite and gentle when taking turns to chew on the stacking cups.

Schools has started so it has been all about getting organised, and into routine. Neither I have done. Hahaha…

Here’s what I wore to a really fun Baby Shower, and this is what I made for the expectant mother.

..A nappy cake! Its just so much nicer to put this together than to just drop off a box of nappies. Also, I made this cake with 4 different brands of nappy just so that Mother-To-Be can ‘trial’ and see which ones they prefer. My advice too was to use the cheap ones during the day as you will change more often and use the more expensive ones for the night like – Baby Love during the day and Huggies during the night.

MY FIRST LOAF OF BREAD! YAY! Yummo. We have just recently taken hostage my mother-in-laws bread machine, and we made our first sour dough bread. Because there is only the 3.5 of us in the house (Missy C is a half), I find the breads in the super markets either too big to finnish off, and the smaller gourmet loaves are just plain ridiculously expensive. SERIOUSLY… who pays $5.50 for a darn loaf of BREAD!

So I make bread say every 5/6 days, and it always fresh and makes the house warm and smelling homely.
