2009 Nuffnang Bloggers Award – Part 2/many

November1

SO. The Aussies managed to tackle down 3 out of 12 awards! Woot woot! As you may have heard… with all the festivities I… ofcoarse had to celebrate. By myself or with people. Other people preferably.

There wasn’t an After Party organised (WT…) and so my bro and I decided that the UNofficial after party was going to be at Clarke Quay. My bro had partied in Singapore before and all he could remember was Clinic. AND SO IT WAS.

I was running around to random people inviting them to this ‘Unofficial party’, and THIS is how we met dear Monoxious. They came to party with us! YAY!

So it was back to the hotel to Glam down and slut dress for the clubs. I didn’t really plan to go clubbing that first night I really didn’t have much to wear. I started with this…

But Dave preferred that I wore my pink review dress. He thought it’d be classier. Hmmph… things I do for my Low Kong! hehehehe.

I had this in my hair. AND the rest of the night… was NOT documented. Sorry. My camera battery Kaputted after taking this, and needed some TLC and battery charging loving. HOWEVER, I believe Michael Aulia’s post has a few. From the pics, you will see that… I was VERY happy and in my element!

Anyway, that night was really fun. Everyone loosened up, and we all smooched like we were all good old friends… from WAY back. It was really awesome! We really danced the night away without a care in the world, but then I was quickly ushered away for a good nights sleep so that I could wake up the next morning at 7AM for our tour. So, as any responsible and diligent wife does… I obeyed. ( I think it was the alcohol making me so ‘easy’ hahahaha) ok. No.

LALALA.. Anyway, the next morning, I got up at 7am, got ready and we waited to meet up with the rest of the crew.

We were supposed to do some tour of the Raffles hotel but while we were waiting for the tour bus AT Raffles we decided to try getting in first, HOWEVER… we were denied entry. Martyn was wearing shorts. WTF?? Lucky for them I wasn’t in my Kylie golden hotpants!

Anyway… somehow we met up with the tour group, I grabbed some breakky and the Uniquely Singapore tour began. We went to the mint museum, which to be truely truely honest, I didn’t find too fascinating. Only because I don’t really remember many of the toys/characters. As a kid, I remember playing with my bro heaps, and it was more imaginative play with pillows, teddies, our spaceship swing, our flea infested space mutt, and trying to catch sparrows with the basket and string trap. Then we were shipped off to NZ, and from there, it was just all about trying to fit in rather than play. Sad. I know but, that’s me. Hmmm maybe that’s why my brain is so loopy… I’ve BEEN DEPRIVED! hehehe.. no.

OK. Too much talking. More pics.

That’s ME “Huang” on top of Dave “Li” hehehehe.. *wink*. Ok sorry.

This is where my ancestors came from. Next to the yellow river. :) Ok, quite boring… I know. BUT I have to say that learning how these China men persevered through life, I have to totally grateful for their strife that I could be here.

OK, so that whole day you’ll read from other people that it was all really touristy things. My Camera kaputted again, and needed more loving. So in a nutshell, we ate, and walked, and toured, and stuff. I totally enjoyed the pewter bowl making from Royal Selangor. That night we headed off to eat super spicy chicken wings that made people’s pee pees hot and spicy when they went to pee. Lucky for me, I just stuck to level 2. Dave tried level 30. He nearly cried. Anyway, then the next day… we did this…

THAT is NOT ME pulling a funny face (as I normally do). It was a reaction to something we did the next day…. eeeeeeeeekkkkk!!! Stay tuned. Also, the goss has yet to come. House first, then blog. Sorry. Love love!

I just had another flash back of the night at the clubs, Kruppy came back with the WORST garlic bread ever. It was like eating concrete. But as the saying goes, beggars can’t be choosers when hungry LOL.
