Mini Heart Attack

December21

As a parent, I think one of the toughest decisions when it comes to your kids is WHEN DO YOU TAKE them to the doctors? I’d like to think that my parenting style is ’stressfree’. “Stress-free parenting”. I learned this new phrase from Nicole from PlanningwithKids at the recent Nuffnang Blue Christmas party. For me, almost every decision I make whether it is what they eat or do, so long as it is STRESS-FREE, I will choose to do.

Anyway, I digress…. ahaha I kinda forgot about what I started off talking about. Oh yeh, doctors!

Ok, last week, our poor little chubber cherub sliced her toe up. She didn’t even flinch. It was darling Arielle who actually discovered the big mishap. Chubby Cherub’s foot and hand was covered in blood, and we didn’t even know it. ANYWAY… be warned… pics below may make you woooossseeeey.

The temporary solution…

AND after about 10 minutes of continuous bleeding, we decided it may be better helped with a trip to the doctors. I was alittle reluctant because I just figured, EH… it will stop naturally. They’re babies, plus she didn’t even flinch when it happened… so why bother?? Dave insisted….and now we feel silly. A trip to the doctors with a bleeding toe, and this is what we came home with…

oh dear. My daughter cut her finger on my razor in the shower she didn’t say a thing i only knew cause there was blood running down the drain.

Glad she’s ok, and I can’t believe a cane basket did that.

Violet – Yeh me too! Or even surgical glue stitches of some sort… bla…

Eve – haha, yeh the whole time I was cleaning her up, I was talking in my head… “Its ok, only blood, no big deal… don’t faint… you’ll be right… ” lol, and thank you!

emma_G – Hi Hi! Have you received your head band yet?? I posted it off last week. Yeh I didn’t realise a cane basket can be so angry ferocious either…

Hope you had a great Christmas. It can be to easy to worry “to sweat the small stuff” when it comes to parenting. Focusing on the big issues only can really take a lot of stress out of your daily life.

Happy New Year to the Lee Family!
